When you are called to speak, please come forward and state vour name and address.

RECOMMENDATION:
That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission receive and file the report.
BACKGROUND:
Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking approval of an Encroachment Permit to haul
oversize/overload equipment through the City of Temecula utilizing the arterial roadway nefinrork:
Because of the size of the transport vehicle and weight of the equipment, SCE must detour the load
on to City streets to reduce the impact to bridge structures along Interstate 15.
Mr. Viet Tran, Region Manager, Local Public Affairs, Southern California Edison, will provide a
detailed presentation regarding the equipment being transported and the proposed haul route.
