Review of Economic Development Sponsorship Applications for FY 2012-2013: Reviewed, discussed applications and recommended approval (see sponsorship chart attached) Council Member Washington abstained (and left the room) from making any decision regarding Balloon & Wine Festival, Wine Growers Association and Help Ride Sponsorship Funding. Interim City Manager Aaron Adams left the room when discussing the Temecula Valley Convention and Visitor's Bureau. 2. Discussion on future of Rod Run: The Committee recommended that the City issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Rod Run event manager to continue organization and operation of the event. The Committee also recommended that Staff inquire with the Mayor on whether the RFP results will first be reviewed by the Committee or to the full City Council. '`*After consultation with the Ma�or. S,taff will be brinc�ing the RFP results to the Committe.e at a future meeting. *T 3. Introduction of Economic Development Logo Concept: City Staff presented the Economic Development logo concept. The Committee and the public were very supportive of the logo. The Committee recommended that the logo be presented to the full City Council for approval.
