PUBLIC COMMENTS
A total of fifteen minutes is provided so members of the public can address the Commission on
items that are not listed on the Agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes each. If you desire
to speak to the Commission about an item not listed on the Agenda, a yellow"Request to Speak"
form should be filled out and filed with the Commission Secretary.
When you are called to speak, please come forward and state your name and address.
For all other agenda items, a"Request to Speak"form must be filed with the Recording Secretary
before the Commission gets to that item. There is a three minute time limit for individual speakers.

RECOMMENDATION:

3. Multi-Use Trail and Bikeways Master Plan Steering Committee — Approved staff
recommendation — (4-0-1). Commissioner Youmans made the motion to have
Commissioners Hagel and Coram serve on the committee; it was seconded by
Commissioner Cosentino and voice vote reflected unanimous approval with the
exception of Chairperson Carter who was absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
3.1 Appoint two (2) representatives to serve on the Multi-Use Trail and Bikeways
Steering Committee.

RECOMMENDATION:
1. Direct Staff to cancel and reschedule the regular meetings for November and December 2013,
and perform the appropriate postings and noticing requirements per the Government Code.
BACKGROUND: Due to the upcoming November and December 2013 Holiday Season, it is
recommended that the Commission consolidate the meetings of November 28, 2013 and December
26, 2013 into one (1) meeting, to be scheduled Thursday, December 12, 2013.
FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact.
