PUBLIC COMMENTS
A total of fifteen minutes is provided so members of the public can address the Commission on
items that are not listed on the Agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes each. If you desire
to speak to the Commission about an item not listed on the Agenda, a yellow"Request to Speak"
form should be filled out and filed with the Commission Secretary.
When you are called to speak, please come forward and state your name and address.
For all other agenda items, a"Request to Speak"form must be filed with the Recording Secretary
before the Commission gets to that item. There is a three minute time limit for individual speakers.

Reports by the Commissioners on matters not on the agenda will be made at this time. A total, not
to exceed, ten minutes will be devoted to these reports.

1. Action Minutes of December 12, 2013 — Approved staff recommendation — (5-0-0).
Commissioner Hagel made the motion; it was seconded by Commissioner Carter;
and individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioners Carter,Coram,Hagel,
Richardson and Youmans.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of December 12, 2013.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Primrose Avenue Interim Student Loading Zone — Update — Approved staff
recommendation and directed staff to remove loading zone signs and continue
to review parking options at Great Oak High School (5-0-0). Commissioner
Carter made the motion; second made by Commissioner Hagel;and individual
voice vote reflected approval from Commissioners Carter, Coram, Hagel,
Richardson and Youmans.
RECOMMENDATION:
2.1 Receive and file the report; and
2.2 Provide further direction to Staff.

Also,City Maintenance staff responded to 47 service order requests ranging from weed abatement,tree trimming,
sign repair,A.C.failures,litter removal,and catch basin cleanings. This is compared to 43 service order requests for lie
mouth of December,2013.
'The Maintenance Crew has also put in 77 hours of overtime which includes standby time, special events and
response to street emergencies.
The total cost for Street Maintenance performed by Contractors [i>r the month ol'January, 2014 was $12,945.00
compared to$39,088.00 for the month of December, 2013.
