PUBLIC COMMENTS

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan and funding
proposals for Fiscal Year 2014 -15
• There were no changes made to the February 25, 2014, recommendation to
evenly divide the amount of $77,578 ($15,515.60 each) among the following
public service providers:
➢ Assistance League of Temecula Valley (Operating School Bell)
➢ Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County (Before and After School Care for
Kids)
➢ Safe Alternatives for Everyone, Inc. (SAFE) (Domestic Violence Services
Program)
➢ Single Mothers United in Rewarding Fellowship ( SMURF) (Expanded
SMURF Childcare Program and Adult Education Programs
➢ Fair Housing Council for Riverside County (Fair Housing Services)
With regard to Public Facilities projects, award $296,174 to Sam Hicks
Monument Park Playground Enhancement Project.
With regard to Housing Activities, award $15,000 to GRID Alternatives' Solar
Affordable Housing Program and $25,000 to Habitat for Humanity's Critical
Home Maintenance and Repairs Program.
