1. The existing Banner Bank sign is permitted “as built”. Any subsequent sign (including re-faces,
replacements, alterations, color changes, dimension changes , and total sign replacements) must
abide by the standards in this sign program.
2. The signs located on this property shall abide by all rules set forth in this sign program under
section A- Purpose and Intent, B- Submittal and Approvals, C- Sign Restrictions, and D- Site
Signage and Building Signage Design Guidelines.
3. In addition to the above regulations, signs shall ONLY be internally illuminated (or non-
illuminated) channel letters. No backers, box signs, sign cabinets, or neon signs will be
permitted. Logos are permitted as an individually cut sign piece, not an entire backer, box, or
cabinet sign.
4. Signs located on the upper portion of the façade are permitted 1 square foot of sign area per
lineal footage of frontage. The primary sign shall not exceed 70% of the total length of the façade.
5. All signs and logos shall leave a 4 inch gap on the top and bottom of the façade element on which
they are place. No signage is permitted in this 4 inch gap.
6. All electrical conduit shall be internalized (not visible).
7. Colors will comply with the guidelines outlined in Section D of this document.
8. All signage will comply with the Palomar Lighting Ordinance 655.
