A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE TEMECULA COMMUNITY SERVICES
DISTRICT, RECITING THE FACT OF THE SPECIAL
TEMECULA COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT
MAIL-IN BALLOT ELECTION HELD ON JUNE 26,
1998 DECLARING THE RESULTS AND SUCH
OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY LAW
WHEREAS, a Special Mail-in Ballot Election was held and conducted in the City of
Temecula, California, on June 26, 1998, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, notice of the election was given in time, form and manner as provided by
law; that the purpose of the special election was for the purpose of obtaining approval by property
owners within Tract No. 25892 was properly established; that election officers were appointed
and that in all respects the election was held and conducted and the vote s were cast, received and
canvassed and the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as required by the
provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. CSD 98-06, adopted May 12, 1998, the ballots
were returned to the office of the City Clerk/Secretary of the Temecula Community Services
District; the results were received, canvassed in public and are herein set forth in Section 2.
NOW THEREFORE, THE TEMECULA COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT OF THE
CITY OF TEMECULA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the whole number of ballots cast in the homeowners election was one and
the whole number of provisional ballots cast in the election was one (1).
Section 2. That the whole number of ballots cast was one (1) for establishment of the
annual levy for Service Level B rates and charges at $25.68/per lot, annual levy for Service Leve 1
B on the parcel identified on the ballot were as follows:

Section 3. The Board of Directors of the Temecula Community Services District does
declare and determine that as a result of the election, a majority of the voters voting on the
measure relating to the establishment of Service Level B Rates and Charges for Fiscal Year 1998-
99 pursuant to Article XIIID, Section 6 of the California Constitution, did vote in favor of the
measure and that the measure was carried, and shall be deemed adopted and ratified.
Section 4. The City Clerk/Secretary of the Temecula Community Services District
(TCSD) shall enter in the minutes of the TCSD Board of Directors, a statement of the result of
the election, showing: (1) The whole number of ballots cast in the City; (2) The votes in favor,
(3) The votes in opposition and (4) Those received incomplete.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution.
