HomeMy WebLinkAbout051100 DH MinutesMINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA PLANNING DIRECTOR MAY 11, 2000 A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday, May 11, 2000 at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Planning Manager, Debbie Ubnoske presiding. Also present were Development Processing Coordinator, Knute Noland, and Minute Clerk, Theresa Alvarez. Planning Manager, Debbie Ubnoske opened the public hearing for items not listed on the agenda at 1:30 P.M. There was no one present to speak. 1. Planning Application No. PA97-0274 (Conditional Use Permit) Planning Manager, Debbie Ubnoske presented the new conditions of approval. They are as follows; condition//2- the hours of entertainment for this establishment shall be 6-9 p.m. on Thursdays; 6-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 12-8 p.m. Sundays and Holidays; condition//3 - applicant is responsible for providing noise mitigation measures approved by the city which may include a structure to reduce the overall noise impacts; condition//5 - until a noise mitigation plan is proposed and accepted by the city, the only types of musical entertainment permitted at this establishment will be jazz, blues, and acoustical instruments; Planning Application PA97-0274 (Conditional Use Permit) - Modification of Planning Application PA97-0274 (Conditional Use Permit) - a request for approval for on-site serving of beer and wince, selling wine for carry out and providing entertainment in an outdoor pub. Planning Manager, Debbie Ubnoske opened the public hearing at 1:34 P.M. Applicant, Ed Dool, 28464 Old Town Front St., has seen the conditions of approval and is requesting a change in condition//2 - to extend the entertainment hours on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Asked for clarification on condition//3 and//5. He is agreement with the conditions of approval. Mike Devencenzi, 43012 Corte Fresca, Temecula, expressed that he isn't concerned with what Ed Dool is doing at his establishment just so long as he doesn't have to hear the music in his home. Ed Dool has provided the citizens with a hotline to the Beer and Wine Garden for them to call if the music is too loud and he has assured the citizens that if they call the number the music will be turned down. Mike is willing to allow a noise reading in his home. Adolfo Martinez, 43655 Buckeye Rd, Temecula, an interested citizen who wants to commend the city and Ed Dool on how the meeting was conducted and the way an agreement was reached; and to commend Ed on his willingness to cooperate and the ways the neighbors want to cooperate. Planning Manager, Debbie Ubnoske, has petitions that she has received from Tuesday nights meeting which will be entered in the record.
