OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA
PLANNING DIRECTOR
MARCH 23, 2000
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday, March 23,
2000 at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula,
California. Senior Planner, Dave Hogan presiding.
Also present were Project Planner Thomas Thornsley, Senior Engineer, Jerry Alegria and Minute Clerk
Theresa Alvarez.
Senior Planner, Dave Hogan opened the public hearing for items not listed on the agenda at 1:30 pm.
There were no requests to speak.
1. Planning Application No. PA00-0175 ( Tenative Parcel Map)
Senior Planner, Dave Hogan added the above referenced item to the agenda, which had been
originally considered at the March 9 meeting and was continued to this meeting. It is still not ready
and as a result this item is being continued off calendar.
2. Plannino Application No. PA99-0205 (Minor Conditional Use Permit)
Project Planner, Thomas Thomsley presented the staff report for Planning Application PA99-0205
(Minor Conditional Use Permit) - The design and constriction of a recreational vehicle storage
facility on 2.56 acres located behind the Hazit Market at 44526 Pala Road.
Senior Planner, Dave Hogan opened the public hearing at 1:34 pm.
No one was present to speak in favor or opposition of Planning Application PA99-0205.
Engineer, Joe Reyes, of Transpacific Consultants, condition #12 prior to issue of occupancy permit a
separate building permit shall be submitted for signage; they expressed concerns are with the timing of this
condition.
Senior Planner, Dave Hogan closed the public hearing at 1:41 p.m.
Senior Planner, Dave Hogan approved PA99-0205 subject to the modificafion~ of Conditions of Approval
as follows: condition #5 the fence along the north property line to be relocated to the top or the south side
of the dike along the property. The applicant to propose where the fence will be moved to either the top
or south side. Condition #8 will be modified to jog the fence up to the northern edge of the building and
then will go back to the property line and vines will be planted along that side of the fence. Relocate
condition #12 to under the general requirements instead of prior to occupancy. Delete condition//35 per
Public Works; and find the project exempt under Section 15.332 of the CEQA guidelines.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 P.M.
