HomeMy WebLinkAbout080698 DH MinutesMINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA PLANNING DIRECTOR AUGUST 6, 1998 A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday, August 6, 1998 at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Senior Planner Dave Hogan presiding. Also present were Assistant Planner Patty Anders, Project Planner Carole Donahoe, Project Planner Thomas Thornsley and Minute Clerk Cathy Davis. 1. Planning Application No. PA98-0224 (Development Plan) Assistant Planner Patty Anders presented the staff report to design, construct and operate a 4,298 square foot automotive (muffler) business located at Via Dos Picos, behind the DMV Office. Senior Planner Dave Hogan opened the public heating at 1:32 PM. There were no requests to speak Phil Esbensen fi.om 6151 Yarrow Drive, Suite H, Carlsbad 92009 concurred with the Conditions of Approval. Senior Planner Dave Hogan closed the public hearing at 1:35 PM. Senior Planner Dave Hogan adopted the Mitigated Negative Declaration and approved PA98-0224 subject to the Findings and Conditions of Approval. 2. Planning Application No. PA98-0254 (Minor Conditional Use Permit) Project Planner Carole Donahoe presented the staff report for the reconstruction of a 4,538 square foot south portion of the first floor of an existing Wells Fargo Bank building, and add a 4,449 square foot expansion of the second floor office area located at 41530 Enterprise Circle South, at the southeat corner of Winchester Road and Enterpise Circle South. Senior Planner Dave Hogan opened the public hearing at 1:36 PM. There were no requests to speak. There was some discussion regarding Condition No. 6 and it will be revised as follows: "Any damaged landscaping shall be replaced prior to occupancy.' Condition No. 30 will be deleted. Russell Rumansoff of 27349 Jefferson Avenue, Temecula, CA 92590 concurred with the Conditions of Approval. Senior Planner Dave Hogan closed the public heating at 1:40 PM. R:[FORMS\DIRHEAR.MIN 8/12198 Idb Senior Planner Dave Hogan adopted the Categorical Exemption and approved PA98-0254 based upon the findings and Conditions of Approval. 3. Planning Application No. PA98-0319 (Development Plan for Product Review Project Planner Thomas Thomsley presented the staff report for the construction of single family homes with three floorplans and three elevations per floorplan on 26 lots within Tract Map No. 21818 located on the west side of Del Rey Road at Kawea Road. Senior Planner Dave Hogan opened the public hearing at 1:43 PM. Cathy Hoagland, a representative of the Meadowview Homeowners Association spoke regarding this project. Charlie Heinze of 5476 Bonsall, CA concurred with the Conditions of Approval. Senior Planner Dave Hogan closed the public hearing at 1:48 PM. Senior Planner Dave Hogan approved PA98-0319 subject to the Findings and Conditions of Approval and the project is exempt from further evaluation under CEQA due to the previous certification of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for this site.
