PLANNING DIRECTOR
JUNE 18, 1998
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday,
June 18, 1998 at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park
Drive, Temecula, California. Senior Planner Dave Hogan presiding.
Also present wereAssistant Plaimer Patty Anders and Minute Clerk Cathy Davis.
1. Planning Application No. PA98-0176 (Minor Conditional Use Permit)
Patty Anders presented the staff report to operate a tire and brake shop (Discout Tire) in
an existing building located at 28007 Front Street, the west side of Front Street between
Del Rio Road and Calle Cortez in the City of Temecula.
Senior Planner Dave Hogan opened the public hearing at 1:34 PM. There were no requests to
speak.
Applicant Roger Epperson representing False Front, Inc., 28465 Front Street, Suite 321,
Temecula, California 92590 concurred with the Conditions of Approval. There was some
discussion regarding the additional landscaping in the rear parking lot area which resulted in
adding a five foot planter west of some of the parking spaces behind the building. Conditions 33
and 37 were deleted.
Senior Planner Dave Hogan closed the public hearing at 1:50 PM.
Senior Planner Dave Hogan approved PA98-0176 subject to the Findings and Conditions of
Approval and this project is Categorically Exempt - Class 3: the Construction or Conversion of
Small Structures (CEQA Guidelines Section 15303).
The meeting was adjourned at 1:51 P.M.
