MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA
PLANNING DIRECTOR
APRIL 26, 2001
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday,
April 26, 2001 at 1 :30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park
Drive, Temecula, California. Senior Planner, Don Hazen presiding.
Also present was Assistant Planner Rolfe Preisendanz and Minute Clerk Theresa Alvarez.
Senior Planner, Don Hazen opened the public hearing for items not listed on the agenda at
1 :35 PM. There were no requests to speak.

Reeves Su erQroup to renovate an existinQ 10,156 SQuare foot car dealership in
order to desiQn and construct a new 20.795 sQuare foot Honda Dealership on 2.63
acres of improved land west of Ynez Road @ Solana Way.
Assistant Planner, Rolfe Preisendanz presented the staff report. Senior Planner Don Hazen
suggested a change in Condition No. 26 to be more concise by changing the wording to read, "A
Geotechnical report shall be prepared by a qualified engineer or geologist and submitted to the
Department of Public Works with the initial grading plan check. The report shall address special
study zones and the geological conditions of the site, and shall provide recommendations to mitigate
the impact of ground shaking and liquefaction."
Applicant Dick Kennedy, Norm Reeves Supergroup, is in agreement with the Conditions of
Approval. Joseph Park, Architect also spoke in favor of the project.
Senior Planner, Don Hazen closed the public hearing at 1 :45 PM.
Senior Planner, Don Hazen approved PAOO-0425 with the above change to Condition No. 26.
