HomeMy WebLinkAbout071901 DH MinutesMINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA PLANNING DIRECTOR JULY 19, 2001 A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday, July 19, 2001 at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Senior Planner, Don Hazen presiding. Also present was Assistant Planner, Rolfe Preisendanz and Associate Planner, Thomas Thornsley, Senior Engineer, Jerry Alegria and Minute Clerk Lesa Riddle. Senior Planner, Don Hazen opened the public hearing for items not listed on the agenda at 1:34 PM. There were no requests to speak. Planninq Application No. PA01-0170 (EOT), the fifth and final Extension of Time for Tentative Tract Map 26828 Associate Planner, Thomas Thornsley presented the staff report. Don Hazen, Senior Planner opened the public hearing at 1:40 PM. Don Lohr, Lohr & Associates, 43513 Ridge Park Drive, Temecula spoke on behalf of the owner and noted that the conditions of approval with the minor change that Staff recommended are acceptable. Don Hazen, Senior Planner closed the public hearing for this item at 1:41 PM Don Hazen, Senior Planner, approved PA01-0170 subject to the current conditions of approval as recommended by Staff. Plannin,q Application No. PA01-0028 (Development Plan) KinderCare Learninq Center Assistant Planner, Rolfe Preisendanz presented the staff report. Don Hazen opened the public hearing at 1:42 PM. Nancy Trudeau, Applicant, 23832 Rockfield Blvd., Lake Forest, CA is in agreement with the conditions of approval. Don Hazen, Senior Planner, approved PA01-0028 subject to the current conditions of approval as recommended by Staff. Plannin.q Application No. PA00-0206 (Development Plan under 10,000 square feet) Penfold Buildinq Senior Planner, Don Hazen presented the staff report noting that the lot line adjustment be recorded before building permits are issued. EIliott Uhrich, Representative, 31761 Van Gaale, Murrieta requested that Planning Condition of Approval No. 11 be deferred by the City prior to occupancy, rather than before building permits are issued. The Applicant also requests that the approved exhibit for the Landscape Plan that was submitted be accepted. Senior Planner, Don Hazen agreed since some of the changes recommended by the City's Landscape Architect are not necessary. Don Hazen, Senior Planner closed the public hearing at 1:45 PM. Don Hazen, Senior Planner approved case number PA00-0026 subject to the conditions of approval. The project is consistent with the development standards with the Old Town Specific Plan and categorically exempt from CEQA.. Seeing no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:46 PM.
