MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA
DIRECTOR OF PLANNING
November 8, 2001
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Director of Planning was called to order on Thursday,
November 8, 2001 at 1 :30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200
Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Senior Planner, David Hogan presiding.
Also present was Minute Clerk, Lesa Riddle.
Senior Planner, David Hogan called the meeting to order at 1 :37 PM.
Item No.1:
Planninq Application No. PA01-0115 (Tentative Parcel Map No. 30107) a request to
subdivide 40.09 qross acres of undeveloped land into five business park lots. Based on
an estimate of the tarqet floor area ratio (40%). the net land area (37.52 acres) could
support approxirnatelv 653,748 square feet of buildinq floor space.
Project Planner, Saied Naaseh presented the staff report. Saied Naaseh requested the
opportunity to rnake a revision to the conditions of approval adding condition no. 7 under the
general section to read as "submit tentative parcel map within 48 hours to the Public Works
department to address the comments provided on the Public Works rnemo dated
May 30" 2001."
Senior Planner David Hogan opened the public hearing at 1 :39 PM.
Mr. Michael Levin, Excel Engineering, 440 State Place, Escondido, CA 92029 represented the
applicant, Eli Lilly. The Applicant's Representative, Mike Levin is in concurrence with the
conditions of approval including the additional item.
David Hogan, Senior Planner closed the public hearing at 1 :43 PM. Mr. Hogan adopted the
mitigated negative declaration and the mitigation monitoring program and approved Planning
Application No. 01-0115 subject to the conditions of approval.
