A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA OFFERING A REWARD OF $1000 FOR
INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST AND
CONVICTION OF THE PERSON OR PERSONS
RESPONSIBLE FOR VANDALISM TO HOLIDAY
DECORATIONS IN THE 40252 BLOCK OF HOLDEN
CIRCLE ON DECEMBER 16, 1995
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Temecula hereby offers a reward in the maximum
amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) for the receipt of information leading to the
arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the vandalism and/or theft of
the holiday decorations to the home in the 40252 block of Holden Circle, in the City of
Temecula which occurred on December 16th, 1995, subject to the terms of the reward offer
described in this Resolution. The reward offer shall be open during the period of December
19, 1995 to December 18, 1996 and shall thereafter be withdrawn and of no further force
and effect. The reward shall not be available to any person who participated in the acts of
vandalism and/or theft described in this Section.
Section 2. Any person claiming the reward described in Section 1 shall file a
written claim for the reward with the City Clerk on or before December 18, 1996.
Thereafter, claims for the reward shall not be accepted by the City Clerk. The City Manager
shall determine, in his sole discretion, the persons or persons who have filed claims and who
qualify to receive the reward and shall disburse the reward to such person or persons. The
City Manager shall disburse the reward following the expiration of the appeal period for
conviction of a perpetrator or expiration of the claims period, whichever is later. In the
event of multiple claims, the reward shall be divided equally between the claimants who
qualify for the reward.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
