A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN THE
STANDARD EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Standardization of Einergency Incident Management is a prime concern
of all emergency management organizations; and
WHEREAS, we recognize that such a system can provide the citizens, through a
cooperative effort of all emergency management organizations, a cost effective emergency incident
management system; and
WHEREAS, we further recognize that the adoption and use of the Standardized
Emergency Management System will result in increased cooperation and efficiency among the
emergency management organization in Riverside County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Temecula agrees to adopt and
use the approved Standaridized Emergency Management System as defined in Government code
8607.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, this 24th day of January, 1995.
