OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA
DIRECTOR OF PLANNING
September 19, 2002
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Director of Planning was called to order on Thursday,
September 19, 2002, at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Community Development Conference
Room, 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Principal Planner, Don Hazen
presiding.
Also present was Development Processing Coordinator, Knute Noland, Project Planner, Michael
McCoy, and Minute Clerk, Lisa Kau.
Principal Planner, Don Hazen called the meeting to order at 1:33 PM.
Item No. 1:
Planninq Application No. PA02-0361, A Minor Conditional Use Permit to
establish a church facility in two adiacent suites, totaling approximately 4,266
square feet, at an existinq 16,383 square foot multi-tenant buildinq, located at
28073 Diaz Road, Suites J & K; Submitted by Grace AME of Temecula Valley
.Church.
Project Planner Michael McCoy presented the staff report. Principal Planner Don Hazen
opened the public hearing at 1:40 PM. The applicant, Mr. Henry Hays, 39342 San Thomas
Court, Murrieta, CA, agreed to the Conditions of Approval. Principal Planner Don Hazen
questioned the hours of operation, and recommended adding the operating hours to condition
number 8. Mr. Hays agreed to the change in condition number 8. Principal Planner Don Hazen
closed the public hearing at 1:43 PM.
Principal Planner Don Hazen approved PA02-0361 subject to the conditions of approval with the
addition to condition 8 as 'q'he days and hours of operation approved with this conditional use
permit are as follows:
· Sunday School and New Members Class: Sunday from'9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.;
· Adult/Youth Bible Study: Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.;
· Sunday Worship Service: Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.;
· Choir Practice: Thursday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m."
Principal Planner Don Hazen adjourned the meeting at 1:45 PM.
