PLANNING DIRECTOR
AUGUST 20, 1998
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday, August
20, 1998 at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park Drive,
Temecula, California. Associate Planner Matthew Fagan presiding.
Also present were Assistant Planner Patty Anders, Project Planner Carole Donahoe and Minute Clerk
Cathy Davis.
1. Planning Application No. PA98-0234 (Tentative Parcel Map No. 28939)
Project Planner Carole Donahoe presented the staffreport to subdivide a portion of the Winchester
Meadows commercial center into five (5) lots located northeasterly of Margarita Road and
Winchester Road (State Highway 79 North).
Associate Planner Matthew Fagan opened the public hearing at 1:39 PM. There were no requests
to speak Applicant Fred Stevenson of Cahan Properties, 4 Bel Monte, Irvine, California 92626
concurred with the Conditions of Approval.
Associate Planner Matthew Fagan closed the public hearing at 1:40 PM.
Associate Planner Matthew Fagan adopted the Negative Declaration and approved PA98-0234
subject to the Findings and Conditions of Approval.
2. Planning Application No. PA98-0305 (Development Plan - Product Review)
Assistant Planner Patty Anders presented the staff report for the design and construction of
thirteen (13) residential fill-in lots located north of the intersection of Calle Katerine and Klarer
Lane. Two lots are remainder lots of Tract Map 23220 and eleven lots of Tract Map 24232.
Associate Planner Matthew Fagan opened the public hearing at 1:52 PM. There were no
requests to speak. Applicant Randy Schroeder of US Homes, 4371 Layton Street, Riverside,
California 92501, concurred with the Conditions of Approval.
Associate Planner Matthew Fagan closed the public hearing at 1:55 PM.
Associate Planner Matthew Fagan adopted the Categorical Exemption - Class 5 Minor Alteration
in Land Use Limitations and approved PA98-0254 based upon the findings and Conditions of
Approval.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:56 P.M.
