CALL TO ORDER at 4:01 PM: Mayor Zak Schwank
ROLL CALL: Mayor Zak Schwank and Council Member Curtis Brown
PUBLIC COMMENTS - None
COMMITTEE BUSINESS
1. Review of Utility Box Project Phase I and Request for Approval of Phase II: Staff shared a
presentation on Phase I of the Utility Box Art Project and plans for Phase II. With approval,
staff will explore current funding opportunities and meet with Subcommittee prior to moving
forward to review selected artwork.
2. City and Daisen Mural Research Update: Staff proposed several locations and inspiration
photos for a mural. Subcommittee is supportive of the project and recommends that staff meet
with Subcommittee prior to moving forward to review final locations and artwork.
3. Margarita Recreation Center Mural Discussion: Staff discussed possible locations and designs
for a mural. Subcommittee is supportive and recommends that staff present the idea to Parks,
Recreation and Community Services Subcommittee for additional feedback.
