Based on the feedback received from Council, staff refined and revised the selected design concept and obtained preliminary cost estimates. Results: Council selected the concept featuring a timeline of the City's history fabricated in brass plaques, then inlaid into the ramp leading from the Square to the site of the memorial in honor of Jimmy Moore. The "Me-Moore-lal" would be located at the base of the western-most flagpole, and would include both a bench and a granite monument, again inlaid with a brass plaque. The plaque would feature an image of Jimmy, as well as a brief biography. For the future, the center of Founders Square could feature an inlaid brass key, directing visitors to individual memorials located around the perimeter of the square. The total estimated cost for the entire project is$25k-$39k,depending on specific design elements selected (e.g., quantity of inset plaques, final dimensions of components). Renderings: At the request of Council, Staff has acquired additional artist renderings depicting the Timeline Walkway concept from alternate perspectives Original walkway rendering, bird's-eye view: IN MEMORIAM "' CONCEPT: TIMELINE WALKWAYTO "MEMOORE-IAL" FEATURES: tc f• r. > Timeline of Temecula's history } .2*", . .a.
